Abstract
The effects of gold ion implantation either on both surfaces of melt-t extured bulk samples or just on one surface are compared. The aim of t he work is to rule out the role played by vortex channeling inside sur face layers in to changing bulk properties. It is shown that character istic behaviors related to the vortex localization do not depend linea rly on the irradiated volume.
