Abstract
The complex resistivity rho<over cap> of the vortex system across the melting transition in YBa2Cu3O7 has been measured from 0.2 to 20 MHz. At the transition field H-m, an abrupt decrease of the reactance Im rh o<over cap> is observed, consistent with a collapse of the shear modul us c(66).
