K. Frikach et al., INFLUENCE OF THE MAGNETIC-FIELD SWEEP RATE ON FLUX-CREEP IN MELT-TEXTURED SAMPLE OF YBA2CU3O7-D, Physica. C, Superconductivity, 282, 1997, pp. 2263-2264
We investigated the influence of the field sweep rate dH/dt (3Oe/s les
s than or equal to H/dt less than or equal to lkOe/s) on the flux cree
p in a melt textured YBa2Cu3O7-d at different temperatures and for a f
ixed fields parallel to the c-axis. The initial stage of the relaxatio
n is imposed by the macroscopic sample dimension and the field sweep r
ate. As a result, all the relaxation curves, at a given field and temp
erature, collapse into a single one that is independent from the exper
imental conditions by a transformation t-->t+tau in which tau is a tra
nsient time. The experimental values of tau coincides well with litera
ture.
