Abstract
The range of attenuation (A) of the crititical current by grain bounda ries was studied in Y(Dy)BCO ceramics. The electrical behavior of boun daries was related to their crystallography and chemistry. Furthermore it was shown that A could be decreased by a proper addition of silver .
