Abstract
The conductance of a normal metal in a ballistic one-dimensional super conductor-normal-metal-superconductor structure(SNS structure) is form ulated. To calculate the normal conductance we use a S-matrix method t o describe the coupling of the normal metallic electrode to the conduc ting normal metal.
