Abstract
Superconducting levitating and rotating systems such as a levitated su perconducting ball above a permanent ring magnet, and a levitated ball magnet above a superconducting MTG ring, have been investigated. It i s shown that the dependence of the levitating force versus distance be tween levitated ball and ring has hysteresis and several maxima. Under AC magnetic field, the levitated ball sample oscillates stably at cer tain conditions. Amplitude-frequency curve has several maxima. At cert ain frequencies of AC magnetic field, the levitated ball begins to spi n. The criteria of superconducting materials that suitable for stable gyro systems are given.
