Abstract
The performance of the Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Inteferometer (IA SI), which is under development at the laboratories of the French Nati onal Space Agency, has been evaluated on the basis of new radiometric noise data. An error analysis has been performed for the direct and si multaneous estimation of temperature, water vapour, and ozone profiles .
