Abstract
For in vivo receptor studies N-[C-11]methyl-2,5-dimethoxy-4-bromo-amph etamine, [C-11]MDOB, was synthesized by the reaction of [C-11]CH3I wit h DOB in acetonitrile. The labelling yield was determined in dependenc e on amount of precursor, time and temperature of the methylation reac tion. During 10 to 15 minutes 60% to 70% of [C-11]MDOB has been obtain ed at 110 degrees C.
