Abstract
A substoichiometric radiochemical extraction method has been developed for the determination of cerium employing a chelating agent beta-hydr oxy-naphthaldoxime, dissolved in isoamyl alcohol. The reagent was synt hesised and characterised in our laboratory. The method developed was utilized to determine the cerium content of some natural samples.
