Abstract
Heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Mn, Cu, Zn, Fe) were determined in surface water s in the surroundings of the depositories of the mining shrubs in the region of Banska Stiavnica (SR) by radionuclide X-ray fluorescence ana lysis. Allowed concentrations of the determined metals are exceeded nu merously (multiplicity in some cases was 10(3)-10(6)).
