Abstract
The synchronization in an array of oscillators is investigated numeric ally for different spatial distributions of natural frequencies along the array. Principal attention is focused on the natural frequency dis tribution when the total range of frequency values Is constant but par ticular forms of distribution are changed. Under these condition, the synchronization increases significantly at the transition from the Fre quencies varying monotonically along the array to completely irregular distribution.
