Abstract
Dermatitis resulting from medical devices is common, The dermatologic hazards of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, cardiac pacema kers, and electrocardiography electrodes are well described, We report a 70-year-old man who experienced contact dermatitis fi om direct cur rent cardioversion, To our knowledge, this is the first report of card ioversion-associated dermatitis.
