Abstract
The effect of heat-treatment conditions on the mechanical properties o f the Fe-23% Cr alloy, as well as its passive state stability in the H ClO4 + NaCl solution, is studied, the alloy being purified by crucible -less zone melting. The results are compared with the corresponding da ta for a similar alloy with a higher content of impurity elements.
