Abstract
The influence of Co-60 gamma irradiation on the crystal structure and electrical properties of YBa2Cu3O7-delta films has been studied. Estim ations were made for the cross-section of defect production at low dos es of gamma irradiation, The grain boundaries are claimed to be effect ive sinks for radiation defects as is determined by Raman scattering s pectroscopy. Analysis of the experimental data reveals a key role of i onization in the formation of defects on the oxygen sublattice.
