Abstract
Euclidean quantum field theory and statistical mechanical models are c onsidered which have been analyzed using renormalization group methods generating inductively a sequence of effective actions. We present a simple method for obtaining correlation functions directly from the ef fective actions. We illustrate the method applying it to the Euclidean massive Gross-Neveu model in two dimensions. The short distance behav ior and long distance exponential decay follow From known results on e ffective actions. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
