Abstract
A statistical method was proposed for the recognition of one- and two- component contours described by non-Gaussian curves. It was shown that In(III) and Cd(II) can be identified in a polarographic solution at c oncentration ratios from 40 : 1 to 1 : 40. The data obtained were used in the determination of n x 10(-6)% In and Cd as impurities in high-p urity aluminum by square-wave polarography (0.1-g sample, n = 9, RSD less than or equal to 10%).
