Abstract
It is shown in this paper that the conditional gauge theorem holds for symmetric alpha-stable processes on bounded C-1,C-1 domains in R'' wh ere 0 < alpha < 2 and n greater than or equal to 2. Two of the major t ools used to prove this conditional gauge theorem are logarithmic Sobo lev inequality and intrinsic ultracontractivity. (C) 1997 Academic Pre ss.
