The potential energy surfaces for the electron transfer processes in s
upramolecular triad systems containing three electron donor or electro
n acceptor subunits in polar media are given in terms of two solvent p
olarization coordinates and reorganization energies. The Marcus reorga
nization energies and reorganization energy parameters are investigate
d for the transition between neutral state and various charge transfer
states using the dielectric continuum approximation.
