Abstract
An experiment was performed with the EUROGAM II array to investigate t he reaction channels that are open in the fusion of a Cl-37 beam on th e actinide target Th-232 at. series of energies around the Coulomb bar rier. The symmetric fission products identified from the level structu res seem to suggest that a proton and neutrons are emitted prior to fi ssion.
