Abstract
We propose a local asymptotic observer around a desired trajectory for nonlinear differentially flat systems. The system variables are assum ed to belong to a Hardy field, the largest comparability class of whic h is the exponential, as is often verified in practice. Then, we ensur e the exponential convergence of the observer by a scheduled gain whic h assigns the eigenvalues. An example of a chemical reactor is outline d.
