Operating conditions of three-phase asynchronous single-machine freque
ncy converters with two working heteropole magnetic fields in the main
magnetic circuit are investigated. New schemes of rotor and stator wi
ndings are shown. Their electromagnetic parameters are investigated by
means of m.m.f. polygons. Results of the investigation and analysis o
f a single-machine reversible frequency converter for 50/60 Hz multipl
ication and 60/50 Hz division with a power rating of up to 10 kV.A are
