Abstract
It is shown that the double logarithmic derivatives of the atomic char ge and momentum densities include information about the positions of e xtremal points in the associated moment densities. A systematic study of the general behavior of this function is carried out in both respec tive spaces for the ground state atoms with 1 less-than-or-equal-to Z less-than-or-equal-to 92 in their RHF description. The asymptotic beha vior of the densities is demonstrated to be reflected in this function .
