Abstract
The tetrapeptide derivitive Boc-Ile-Gly-Met-Thr(Bzl)-OBzl 1 forms mice llar aggregates in chloroform. Evidence for micelle formation in chlor oform has been obtained by IR, Raman scattering, fluorescence spectros copic methods and calcium picrate extraction techniques. The thermodyn amic data indicate that the driving force for the micellisation is ent halpic in nature.
