Master equations of statistical physics can be described using a pseud
o-quantum formalism. This formalism is applied here to operators (a) o
ver cap and (a) over cap(dagger) which satisfy the nonstandard commuta
tion relation of a g-statistics ((a) over cap (a) over cap(dagger) - q
(a) over cap(dagger)(a) over cap = 1). In the simplest cases, this le
ads to a master equation which describes unusual dynamics and equilibr
ium distributions which are a generalization of Poisson statistics. As
a physical realization with a temperature dependent q-factor we discu
ss the exchange of particles in a pore. There results a phase transiti
on at a critical confinement temperature T-c below which complete exch
