Abstract
The influence of preliminary shock-wave loading on the deformation str ucture formation in the process of following high-rate plastic strain has been investigated. The previous hardening is shown to provide a st ructural uniformity of the deformation to large value of strain due to the formation of a highly dispersed intergrain structure.
