A study has been made of the Wacker oxidation of 1-dodecene by air oxy
gen in aqueous-organic media in the presence of macromolecular palladi
um complexes based on iminodipropionitrile-functionalized ethylene oxi
de and block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. Copper
dichloride or benzoquinone was used as the cocatalyst. It was establis
hed that the reaction proceeds selectively with high 2-dodecanone yiel
