Abstract
We have determined the human leucocyte antigen frequencies of a broad cross section of the Free State population for the first time. There a pe certain notable differences among these characteristics of the vari ous population groups in the province, for which individual haplotype frequency tables are therefore necessary for such purposes as paternit y testing.
