Abstract
A theoretical model of a coplanar transmission line (CPW) port is deve loped in the frame of the method of moments (MoM). It is used to numer ically analyze the magnetic formulation of the mixed potential integra l equation (MPIE) for etched slots in planar multilayer structures. Tw o CPW-fed slot circuits have been built and tested to establish the mo del accuracy. Simulated results agree well with measurements. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
