Abstract
Rate constants are reported for substitution at vanadium(IV) in bis-cy clopentadienylvanadium dichloride by a range of anionic and uncharged nucleophiles in acetonitrile solution. Rate constants have been determ ined for replacement of the first and of the second chloride. The reac tivity of V(cp)(2)Cl-2 is compared with that of Ti(cp)(2)Cl-2. (C) 199 7 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
