Abstract
Globorotalia bouregregensis, n. sp., is described and documented from the latest Miocene-early Pliocene sequence of the Rifian Seaway, north west Morocco. By its short stratigraphic distribution, persistence and distinctive morphologic features, the new taxon is well differentiate d within the scituline assemblage.
