Abstract
Acetylide addition to 1-alkoxy-substituted cyclohexadienyliron complex es and acid promoted dealkoxylation have been used to prepare bimetall ic monocation alkyne-linked dipoles which have been shown to exhibit N LO effects by hyper-Rayleigh scattering measurements. (C) 1997 Elsevie r Science S.A.
