Abstract
eta(2)-Dimethylamino(thio)carbene complexes of molybdenum and tungsten are formed reacting the tricarbonylmetallates of molybdenum and tungs ten [LM(CO)(3)](-) (L = Cp, eta(5)-C-5(CH3)(4)CH2CH3, HBpz(3), HB(pzMe (2))(3)) with dimethylthiocarbamoylchloride. The structures of the new eta(2)-thiocarbene complexes were determined by X-ray diffraction ana lysis.
