Abstract
Photolysis of C-60 with piperidinoacetic acid and morpholinoacetic aci d results in the decarboxylation of the acids and formation of the 1,2 -dihydrofullerenes C-60(H)[CH2N(CH2)(5)] 1, C-60(H)[CH2N(CH2CH2)(2)O] 2 Under the same conditions the reactions with the methyl esters of th e two cyclic amino acids give the fullerropyrrolidine derivatives C-60 [(C) under bar H(CH2)(4)N (C) under bar HCOOCH3] 3, and C-60[(C) under bar H(CH2OCH2CH2)N (C) under bar HCOOCH3] 4.
