Abstract
The lichen genus Peltigera is a conspicuous component of the Iberian P eninsula lichen flora and is represented there by twenty-two taxa. P. monticola and P. didactyla var. extenuata are reported as new for the Iberian Peninsula. P. kristinssonii is new for the Iberian Mediterrane an region and P. hymenina for the Spanish Mediterranean region. Many s pecies are new records for several provinces. Chemical, ecological and distributional data for each taxa are provided.
