S. Bednarek, PIEZOINDUCTIVE EFFECT IN FERROMAGNETIC COMPOSITES WITHIN AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTING MATRIX, Physica status solidi. a, Applied research, 163(1), 1997, pp. 181-193
The structure and the ways of production of porous composites, uniform
ly magnetized and susceptible to compression, are described in this pa
per. They contain particles of hard magnetic substances dispersed in a
n elastic matrix made of electrically conducting polymers. Thanks to i
t, during: compression of such composites in rectangular samples, the
Garshelis effect call proceed which has: a practical meaning. Tile mod
el of such composite structures was accepted. Using this model new for
mulas for calculating substitute material parameters of composites, el
ectromotive force and piezoinductive current were derived. The obtaine
d theoretical dependencies were discussed and results of preliminary m
easurements presented.
