The dielectric behaviour of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films complexed wi
th ammonium thiocyanate (NH4SCN) have been investigated at various fre
quencies (from 100 Hz to 10 kHz) in the temperature range from 303 to
383 K. Tile relative permittivity (epsilon'), loss tangent (tan delta)
and relaxation time (tau) were found to be temperature and dopant con
centration dependent. The experimental results reveal alpha, alpha bet
a and beta-types of relaxation processes For PVA-NH4SCN complexes.
