Abstract
Mixed convection in power-law type non-Newtonian fluids along an isoth ermal vertical cylinder in porous media is studied. The problem is sol ved by means of a finite difference method for the case of uniform wal l temperature. Results for the details of the velocity and temperature fields as well as the Nusselt number have been presented. The viscosi ty index ranged from 0.5-1.5.
