Abstract
The template strategy combined with electrodeposition techniques have been successfully used to produce nanoscale objects in the cylindrical pores of track-etched polycarbonate membranes. Using this method, nan ometer-size metallic wires, conductive polymer nanotubules, supercondu cting nanowires and quasi-one-dimensional magnetic multilayers have be en fabricated. These nanoscale materials exhibit physical properties d ifferent from those found in the bulk.
