Abstract
The spontaneous breakdown of the chiral symmetry of the QCD Lagrangian ensures that pi pi interactions are weak at low energies. How weak de pends on the structure of the vacuum. Measurements of K-e4 decays at D A Phi NE will provide a unique insight into its structure and test whe ther the <q(q)over bar>-condensate is large or small.
