Abstract
Three heteropolyanionic species the synthesis of which was previously reported ([KAs4W40O140](-27), [KAs4W40Cd2O140](23-), [KAs4W40Cr2O140]( 21) -) were characterised by IR and electronic spectroscopy and by the rmal analysis. The results confirmed the complex combination nature of this species and evidenced the distorted octahedral environement of M n(II), Cd(II), Cr(II) ions (acting as secondary heteroatoms), as well as some modifications in the structure of the heteropolyanionic ligand , as an effect of the coordination.
