Abstract
In this Note, we announce results on spectral asymptotics of algebraic curves, equipped with any metric which can be induced from a hermitia n metric on complex projective space, via some projective embedding. W e prove that the zeta-function of the Laplacian is meromorphic, and th at the singularities of the curve can be detected from spectral inform ation.
