Abstract
Anomalous systemic arterial supply to a lobe of the lung is a rare cau se of pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure in the newbo rn period. We report the presentation and successful treatment of a ne onate with this unusual anatomy. Proper diagnosis required both echoca rdiography and aortography, and surgical resection of the involved lob e was curative. (C) 1997 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
