A classification of processes of asymmetric rolling in all possible r
ange of work roll speed ratio variation is presented and new uninvesti
gated processes with generating and fluid friction conditions of one o
f the rolls have been revealed, Abilities of controlled asymmetric rol
ling in affecting power and farce rolling parameters, orientation and
service properties of rolled strip and plate at stationary and nonstat
ionary rolling stages have been discussed. The results of laboratory a
nd full-scale experimental studies of controlled asymmetric rolling pr
