Abstract
The article suggests a general arrangement for solving problems of ele ctrodynamics with infringed axial symmetry due to a shift from the axi s of the current winding. This arrangement was realized for an infinit ely long cylinder with constant electrical conductivity and magnetic p ermeability; the vector potential and the insertion emf are calculated ; corresponding graphs are presented.
