The senescent changes reflected on the nose can often be eliminated su
ccessfully to lead to an approximate five years younger appearance ind
ependent of other rejuvenation approaches. The aging nose possesses sp
ecific features which include presence of a dorsal hump, elongation of
the nose, loss of nasal support structures, dependence of the nasal t
ip, and significant changes in the nasal physiology. All of these can
be readily corrected as an outpatient procedure to achieve both aesthe
tic and functional improvement.
