Abstract
Measurements obtained by dynamic mechanical analyzers help provide ins ight into the stress state of materials, which can be related back to morphology and composition, The authors present an overview of DMA mea surements for various films (amorphous and semicrystalline thermoplast ics, thermosets, and elastomers) and discuss some of the experimental challenges encountered.
