Abstract
Percutaneous Transthoracic Needle Biopsy (PTNB) is an accepted techniq ue for the diagnosis of suspected intrathoracic malignancy and, althou gh the appropriate indications have not been clearly defined yet, its use has rapidly expanded in the last years. The authors reviewed retro spectively their experience over one-year time biopsies and analyzed s ome controversies regarding this diagnostic procedure.
