Abstract
Tracing the history of how the study of dispute resolution came into t he mainstream of behavioral science courses in business schools, the a uthor gives a positive assessment of the appropriateness of the conten t and pedagogy of negotiation courses currently taught in business sch ools for the challenges of the next decade. He proceeds to make recomm endations for improving the definition and acquisition of negotiation skills.
