P. Sandstrom et Iv. Krive, MANIFESTATION OF RESONANT-TUNNELING IN PERSISTENT CURRENT OSCILLATIONS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 56(15), 1997, pp. 9255-9258
The persistent current for a one-dimensional ring with two tunnel barr
iers is considered in the limit of weakly interacting electrons. In ad
dition to a small off-resonance current, there are two kinds of resona
nt behavior; (i) a current independent of the barrier transparency (tr
ue resonance) and (ii) a current analogous to the one for a ring with
only a single barrier (''semi resonance''). For a small barrier transp
arency the ''semi resonance'' peaks are easily washed out by temperatu
re whereas the true resonance peaks survive.
