Abstract
Oligonucleotides containing 5-hydroxy-2'-deoxycytidine (2) have been s ynthesized using the phosphoramidite chemistry. The presence and the i ntegrity of the modified nucleoside in the synthetic oligomers were co nfirmed by electrospray mass spectrometry and chromatoghraphic analysi s of enzymatic digestion coupled with UV detection.
